Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 20, 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar storage technologies used on Vandall® (vandall.com). We follow an EU-first approach: we measure visits anonymously without storing anything on your device, and analytics cookies plus future marketing storage stay off until you explicitly choose them.

1. What We Use

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep the website working, remember your consent settings, and, where you opt in, understand how the public website is used.

2. Storage Categories

Necessary Storage

Required for site routing, security, and remembering your cookie choices. These controls stay on because the website needs them to function correctly.

  • Consent preferences
  • Core site and session state

Analytics Storage

We measure aggregate site usage with PostHog. Anonymous, cookieless counting — with no identifier stored on your device — runs by default. Analytics storage (a cookie/localStorage ID that links your visits over time) is enabled only after you opt in.

  • Anonymous page and event counts (no storage)
  • Persistent visitor ID and campaign measurement after consent

Experiment Storage

Enabled only with analytics consent so A/B assignments can stay consistent across visits. If you do not consent, experiments should remain off or run without persistent storage.

  • Homepage or feature experiment assignment cookies

Marketing Storage

Used for Brevo-backed lead capture and newsletter flows that require explicit opt-in. We do not treat a contact request or general site use as consent for marketing storage.

  • Future marketing preference storage
  • Opt-in newsletter subscription records

3. Third-Party Services

  • PostHog for optional analytics and feature-flag support after opt-in.
  • Brevo for marketing preferences, transactional email, and newsletter subscriptions where you have separately opted in. (Brevo replaced HubSpot in early 2026; older HubSpot identifiers are no longer used.)
  • Cloudflare, which serves this website and may process technical request data (IP address, request headers, user-agent) required to deliver responses and protect against abuse.

4. How Consent Works

On your first visit, we show a cookie consent control that lets you:

  • Accept all optional categories.
  • Reject all optional categories.
  • Open the detailed preferences view and choose analytics and marketing separately.

You can reopen these choices at any time using the Cookie Preferences control in the footer. For background on the related personal-data processing, please review our Privacy Policy.

5. Managing Cookies

You can also control cookies through your browser settings, but blocking all storage may affect site functionality. Necessary storage remains active because it is required for the website to work and to remember your consent settings.

6. Policy Changes

If we materially change our use of cookies or similar technologies, we will update this page and, where appropriate, refresh the consent prompt. Questions can be sent to hello@vandall.com.
