Do collaborators need a Vandall account to sign?
No. They open the signing link in a browser, see the splits, confirm with a click. The signature captures their name, IPI, timestamp, IP, and device whether they have an account or not. They can create a free account if they want their splits in one place.
Can a contributor sign from a phone?
Yes. The signing flow is identical on mobile. The same audit trail of timestamp, IP, IPI, and device is captured, so a writer on tour can clear the splits from a hotel lobby.
Is the PDF legally binding?
The signed PDF carries a full audit trail: who signed, when, from what IP, with what IPI. It holds up for publishing admin and dispute resolution. We are not a law firm, so for high-value catalog deals, get a lawyer to review.
Can a split sheet be edited after it locks?
Once locked, the document is immutable. To change it, create a new version. Every signer re-confirms, and the old version stays in the audit trail so the dispute history is intact.
What format does the export come in?
PDF and CSV. The PDF is the signed document everyone confirmed and is ready for publishing admin. The CSV is the same data in rows for your own bookkeeping or to import into a spreadsheet.
Is this only for songwriting splits?
