Six months later the registration still matches the agreement, and a sync agent with read-only access sees the same clean record you do.

Can a supervisor open a pitch without an account?
Yes. The pitch link opens in any browser. The supervisor plays the track, reads the credits, and sees the splits and ownership without an account, a password, or an install. You see the listen on your side.
Do you submit registrations to PROs and CMOs for us?
No. Vandall captures and locks the data your publishing admin needs (IPI, IPN, ISWC, splits, signed PDFs) and exports it as PDF or CSV. You submit through Songtrust, Sentric, Kobalt, or your direct PRO/CMO accounts. We track the registration status against the work so nothing slips through.
How do co-publishing and sub-publishing splits work?
On the same split sheet you set the writer share and the publisher share, then split the publisher share between co-publishers. Each party signs their own slice. Sub-publishers can hold territory-specific cuts on the metadata, with the original publisher controlling the master record.
Can sync agents browse the catalog without editing it?
Yes. Invite them with role-based read-only access at the catalog or project level. They stream the masters in-browser, see the splits, and see who controls what. They cannot upload, edit, or export. Pull access the day the deal ends.
Is the signed split sheet legally binding?
The signed PDF carries a full audit trail: who signed, when, from what IP, with what IPI. It holds up for publishing admin and dispute resolution. We are not a law firm, so for high-value catalog deals get a lawyer to review the template.
Can I import an existing catalog?
Yes. CSV import covers works, contributors, IPI, ISWC, splits, and registration status. Bring in your spreadsheet of record, then capture new works on Vandall going forward. See the migrate-from-sheets use case for the playbook.
Does Vandall handle MLC reconciliation or sync pitching?
Not directly. Vandall holds the data your reconciliation and pitching tools need (clean splits, ISWC, IPI, signed PDFs, audit trail) and shares it with the people doing that work. For sync pitching, point a sync supervisor at the catalog with read-only access; see /for/sync.
