Share a track externally
By the end you’ll have a public link to one file that people outside your workspace can play, with downloads, comments and a password set the way you want.
Before you start
- A track with the file you want to share uploaded to its Files tab.

Choose the options
Choose what your recipient can do. Turn on Downloading to let them save the file, Comments to let them leave feedback, and Cover art to show the artwork. To protect the link, turn on Password and type one. Click Save settings.
- You now see the settings saved and the link active.

Copy or check the link
Click the copy button to the right of the link, then paste it wherever you’re sending it. Click Open to see the page your recipient will get.
- You now see the public page in a new tab.

Stop sharing
Open Share for the file again and click Stop sharing at the top of the dialog, then confirm. The link stops working straight away.
- You now see the file no longer shared. You can share it again any time.

Check what they receive
Open the link yourself before you send it. Your recipient gets this page without needing an account or a login: the artwork, a player, the file details, and Download if you turned downloading on.
- You now see the page your recipient sees, exactly as they see it.

Tips
- To share a whole release with its metadata and credits, use the track’s Package tab instead.
