Sharing Projects Externally

Generate a public share link for any project so external collaborators, A&Rs, or clients can review files and comments without a Vandall account.

2 min·4 steps·Updated 2026-04-20
  1. 1

    Open the Share dialog

From any project, click "Share" in the project header. You'll see a toggle for a public link plus options for password protection and download permissions.

  2. 3

    What the recipient sees

Recipients land on a clean public share page with the project cover, artist, audio previews with waveform, cover art, and any files you've exposed. They can play, comment, and — if you allow it — download.

    Revoke or update access

Turn the public link off at any time to revoke access. Password-protect the link if you need an extra layer. Links are deterministic per project so re-enabling after revoke keeps the same URL.

Tips

  • Use a share link for A&R reviews and feedback rounds — you avoid the overhead of inviting every external person.
  • For full release handover use the Release Package instead — it bundles files, metadata, and agreements into one deliverable.
