File Sharing Guide

Upload the file to a track. Click ⋮ on the file and choose Share file link. Click Copy next to the link and paste it wherever you talk to the person, such as email or a chat.

The person you sent it to types a note in the comment box under the player. If they tick Include timestamp, the note is pinned to the moment they have reached, so nobody has to write "around the 2-minute mark". Each pinned note shows its time as a badge. Click the badge to jump the player there.

Upload the new mix as another file on the same track. Every version then sits together, each with the comments it collected. Put the version in the file name, such as v2 or v3, so the order is obvious. Share links you already sent keep pointing at the file they were made for.

• The V1 and V3 badges come from the filenames, so put the version in the name when you export.

Use the switches above the link to decide what the recipient can do. Turn on Password and type one to protect the link. Switch Downloading and Comments on or off, and choose whether Cover art goes with it. Links don't expire on a timer. Click Stop sharing to close one. It stops working at once for everyone who has it.
