Sign a Split Sheet with a Co-Producer
Walk the agreement wizard end-to-end: add your co-producer, define the split, send for signatures, and confirm the PDF is clean.

Fill metadata before starting the wizard
Open Metadata and confirm artist name, song name, genre, and ISRC are set. The wizard pulls these into Step 1 automatically. Fixing them afterwards means redoing signatures.

Start the Split Sheet wizard
On the Agreement tab, tap "Split Sheet" to begin. Step 1 shows the pre-filled song info. Give the agreement a clear name — "Freedom — Split Sheet" — so it's obvious in the Agreements list later.

Add yourself and your co-producer
In Step 2, search for your co-producer by name or email. If they're already on Vandall they auto-complete. If not, you can add them by name only — they'll be listed on the PDF but signatures must be collected separately. Assign credit roles to each participant.
- Name-only participants appear on the PDF but can't sign inside Vandall — collect signatures offline.
- Credit roles on the split sheet should match credits on the Metadata tab.

Split the percentages
Step 3 is the split. Enter each person's ownership percentage. The total must equal 100% — the wizard blocks Continue if it doesn't. Think carefully here: this determines how royalties flow, not just credit on the PDF.

Send for signatures
Review the summary and confirm. Both of you get notified to review and sign. Your IPI/IPN numbers pre-fill from your profile if you set them in Settings. If your co-producer hasn't, remind them — it avoids a re-sign later.

Track progress and download the PDF
The Agreements tab shows signing progress like "1/2 signed" until everyone's done. You can download the PDF at any point — it updates as signatures come in. Once fully signed, the PDF is locked and the agreement status moves to Signed.
Tips
- Add your IPI number to Settings > Accreditations before starting the wizard. It saves re-signing later.
- Name-only participants are listed on the PDF but need signatures collected outside Vandall. Use real accounts when possible.
