Previewing Files and Leaving Comments

Play audio with waveform visualization, preview images and PDFs, and leave timestamped comments on files — all without downloading.

    Open a file preview

    In any project's Files tab, click on a file to open the preview dialog. The preview shows file content on the left and a details sidebar on the right.

    Play audio and navigate the waveform

    Audio files show a waveform visualization. Click anywhere on the waveform to seek. Use play/pause, or rewind/fast-forward to jump 15 seconds. File details like format, duration, bitrate, and sample rate are shown in the sidebar.

    Leave a timestamped comment

    In the sidebar, expand the Comments section. Type your message and check the "Timestamp" checkbox to attach the current playback position. Your comment appears with a clickable timestamp badge — anyone can click it to jump to that exact moment.

    Preview images and PDFs

    Image files show a full preview that can be opened in a new tab. PDF files render inline. Use the "Open" button to view in a new browser tab.

    Rename and download

    Click the filename in the preview header to rename it inline. Use the "Download" button to save the file.
