Build and share a playlist
By the end you’ll have a playlist of tracks from your catalog and a link you can send to anyone. They can play every track, and download them if you allow it, without a Vandall account.
Before you start
- A workspace with tracks in the Catalog. Owners, admins and members can make playlists.

Select the tracks
Open Catalog, click ⋮ beside Create Track and choose Select rows. Tick the tracks you want, then click Add to playlist in the bar at the bottom of the screen.
- You now see your playlists, a search box and New playlist.
- Pick an existing playlist to add the tracks to it. A track that is already there is skipped, not added twice.

Name the playlist
Click New playlist. Type a Name and, if you like, a Description of what the selection is for. Click Create playlist.
- You now see the new playlist’s page with your tracks in the order you picked them.

Turn the link on
On the playlist’s page, switch on Live in the Share link card on the right. Click Copy to copy the link.
- You now see the link and how many times it has been opened, with switches for Password and Downloads below it.
- Switching Live off stops the link working. Switching it on again makes a new link.
- Switch on Password to ask for one before the playlist opens.

Send it
Paste the link into an email or a message. The person who opens it sees the playlist and can play every track. While Downloads is on, Download all gets every track’s audio, files and metadata in one zip.
- You now see what they see. No account is needed.
Tips
- You can also start from Playlists: click New playlist, tick tracks and click Next.
