Turn folders into roster members
By the end an artist folder you already had belongs to a roster member, with every track still inside it.

Before you start
- A top-level folder named after the artist, with their tracks in it.
- Owner or admin access. Only they see the roster Add tile.

Find the artist’s folder
Open Catalog. A folder at the top level named after an artist, such as The Vandalls, can become that artist’s roster folder.
- You now see the folder you want to keep.
- Only top-level folders are matched. A folder inside another folder is not offered.

Add a member with that name
Click the dashed Add tile in the roster rail and type the folder’s name in Name. Capitals do not matter.
- You now see a notice offering the existing folder.
- No notice appears when two top-level folders share the name. Rename one so the match is clear.

Use the existing folder
Click Use this folder, then Add roster member. The folder takes the artist’s name as you typed it. Create a separate one gives the artist a new, empty folder instead.
- You now see the artist in the roster rail.
- Changed your mind before saving? Click Undo.

Open the artist
Click the artist in the Roster rail above the track list.
- You now see the folder you had, now the artist’s, with every track still in it.
